While I can't see myself ever donning an asymmetrical haircut or a neon jumpsuit, the vibrant colors and the offbeat, yet classic fashion in Edward Scissorhands is definitely something from which to draw inspiration. I love how the clothing is like the best of the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's all rolled into one. It's surreal and over the top, yet still somehow manages to be timeless and simple. And the movie is just bursting with fantastic colors.. even the aerial shot of the suburb makes me want to run out and buy pastel dresses with matching pumps!
