This week was my 4 year blogaversary!! So that means it's time for my 4th annual blog anniversary giveaway! Each year for my blogaversary & my birthday I give away a pack of my favorite goodies. I have so much fun collecting cute little things to put in the packages! :) This year if you win you'll get everything pictured here:





What you'll win: One person will win an assortment of some of my favorite things, all packaged neatly in a cute pink polka dotted satchel:

my five favorite outfits

My two year blog anniversary is coming up next week (I have LOTS of fun stuff planned to celebrate! hooray!!) and I've been spending more time than usual perusing my archives. So I thought it would be fun this week to highlight some of my favorite posts! First up, my top 5 favorite outfits! I left out any from when I used to take my outfit pictures with my webcam since they're so teeny tiny! My oh my, have things changed since then! Now I take the photos with my super fancy... iphone ;)

1. This was from a DIY post on how to do gold-leaf accents on shoes. I love those green tights and that vintage 60's velvet dress is one of my all time favorites! // original post

2. This is just from 2 weeks ago, but I love the colors and I felt so happy wearing it! It's my favorite outfit I've posted since I started fashion blogging almost 2 years ago! // original post

3. Annndd this is from last week lol! But I just loved it so much! Definitely something different from what I'm used to, and so fun! // original post

4. This outfit ended up getting paired with a really emotional personal post, but I still love the pairing of the summer dress & white pussybow blouse. // original post

blog anniversary giveaway!

Scathingly Brilliant is officially one year old today! :D Yay!! Granted, I didn't really start to blog regularly here until December, but I'm still pretty excited that it's been a whole year! It's sort of like a baby... at first it just sort of laid there and didn't do much, but after 8-9 months it's walking, talking, eating on its own and holding its head up. And by the first birthday it's stuffing cake in its face and clapping with excitement (I obviously don't really know when real babies do these things, so my blog is either kind of slow or really gifted..)

Anyway, to celebrate my first anniversary, I decided to do a little giveaway! I wasn't sure at first what to give, so I just thought to myself, "If I could win anything in a blog giveaway, what would I want to win?" And the answer was pretty simple.. money to spend at Modcloth, of course!! Looking through their new arrivals is a daily ritual (okay, more than daily.. hourly perhaps?) and I'd be pretty darn excited to get free stuff from their site!
