I think this is absolutely genius. It's called the Meow Pix Camera -- a camera specifically designed for taking photos of your cats! I don't know about you, but whenever I try taking pictures of my kitties I make weird noises, clap my hands, try dangling string in front of the lens, anything to get them to look up at me in time to get a good shot. This handy dandy contraption takes care of all that -- with flashing lights and sound effects that meow (oh my gosh) cat guardians can relax, and leave all the attention-grabbing work to the camera! Maybe if I tell myself it's actually a present for Hypatia I can justify buying it? ;-D

I swear my cats get cuter each day. Just when you think to yourself, "wow they just could not be any cuter," BAM! they get cuter. In the 3rd photo down, I was laying on my couch with my back to my bed and turned around to peek at Hypatia, who I thought was dozing, but instead I found her alert and watching me, with her little head popping out from behind her cat bed. It's little things like that just make me SO happy I live with cats.

Aren't these the most adorable salt & pepper shakers EVER? I don't even put salt or pepper on any of my foods, and yet I have a feeling that my future kitchen will have about 30 sets, just because I'm constantly finding so many that I like :-)
